Join us for an informative webinar on SB 707 (Durazo), a sweeping overhaul of California’s Ralph M. Brown Act, the state law that governs local government meetings. SB 707 makes significant changes to how cities conduct public meetings, including new requirements for remote participation, agenda posting, and public access. These updates will have major operational, fiscal, and legal implications for cities across the state.

Presenters will provide an overview of how SB 707 came to be, explain its key provisions, and offer insight into what cities can expect in next year’s legislative session as related issues under the Ralph M. Brown Act continue to evolve.

Presenters
Megan McClurg, Assistant City Attorney, Oceanside
Tracy Noonan, City Attorney, Thousand Oaks
Johnnie Pina, Legislative Advocate, League of California Cities
