Webinar: 2026 Statewide Local Streets and Bridges Needs Assessment

Wednesday, September 02, 2026 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM   iCalendar Pacific Standard Time

Join the League of California Cities and the California State Association of Counties as we share the 2026 Local Streets and Roads Needs Assessment Report and discuss upcoming advocacy opportunities.

Since 2008, the biennial assessment has provided a comprehensive and systematic look at California’s local streets and roads, leading to the passage of SB 1 (Beall). This year, the needs assessment has taken on newfound importance as gas tax revenues face potential headwinds to the tune of $82.6 billion over the next decade.

The 2026 report focuses on the condition of California’s transportation infrastructure, the impacts of SB 1, and the ongoing funding needs of local streets, roads, and bridges. This report will be an invaluable part of educating policymakers and advocating for stable and strong investments to repair and maintain California’s vital local transportation infrastructure.
